A disclaimer was given and we were off.
I fooled everyone with no warmup right away. Instead we did a slow mosey to the trail entrance over by Olive Garden where we stopped for a warmup which consisted of 15 Side Straddle Hops IC, 15 Imperial Walkers IC, 15 Windmills IC and 15 Hillbilly Walkers IC. We then moseyed back across the street through the Bob Evans parking lot making our way over past the Circle K behind the plaza. At the entrance to the Wendy’s parking lot we waited for the six to catch up and continued our mosey to the parking lot in front Events Center @ Manchester.
We partnered up for some B.O.M.B.S. Since our numbers were odd we had one group of triplets. One partner ran a lap around the event center while the other partner started on the prescribed exercises then flip-flopped. All the counts were cumulative and consisted of:
Burpees – 50
Overhead Claps – 100
Merkins – 150
Big Boy Situps – 200
Squats – 250
Polymer gave us an Apache 10 count telling us a bit about himself and a concern that was weighing on his heart.
We moseyed to the fountain by Mellow Mushroom for some Merkins (20 OYO), Erkins (20 OYO), Derkins (20 OYO), Dips (20 OYO) and Step-ups (10 each leg OYO).
We moseyed back to the start for the COT.
We finished with the Count-o-rama, Name-o-rama, announcements and prayer requests & praises. YHC closed us out with prayer. As always, it was an honor to lead.
