We had an Apache 10 count from Polymer.

I spoke about a gift I received from God: my career and how I’m blessed to have a great job for an exceptional organization

We moseyed to flagpole in front of the Tillman building and planked up or went back for the 6.

Ponytail led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

We partnered up with one pax running the loop to Oakland Avenue and back and one pax staying back to exercise:

  • 1st round: merkins, urkins, derkins (pax’s choice)
  • 2nd round: LBC’s
  • 3rd round: squats

I spoke about the importance of teamwork and how the faster one partner ran, the fewer repetitions their partner would have to perform.  Italian Job was especially moved by this observation. 🙂

Once all three rounds were finished, we planked up or went back for the 6, then had an Apache 10 count from Italian Job.

I spoke about another one of my gifts from God: My health and how God had helped me overcome PTSD and how I had lost a tremendous amount of weight since 2012.

We moseyed to scholars walk and performed “Walk like an Egyptian”, which no one but YHC was familiar with.  It’s basically an Indian run but everyone except the runner is doing alternating lunges.

We then had an Apache 10 count from Catfish.

We moseyed to the loading dock and got in the peoples chair with each pax doing a 10 count balls-to-the-wall.

We moseyed to Alumni Drive and did alternating toy soldiers and Lt. Dans at each light pole for 5 light poles and then had an Apache 10 count from Ponytail.

We moseyed back to AO (YHC may or may not have walked the last 100 yards or so), planking up to wait for the 6.

I spoke about another one of my gifts from God: My family and the tremendous blessing of having an incredible wife and two amazing goddaughters.

We then commenced our closing ceremonies: Count-o-rama, Name-o-rama, Announcements, and Prayer requests\Praise reports.

I then spoke about the greatest gift in my life: my salvation.  God radically saved me and uses me to serve and minister to those around me.

We then entered the ball-o-man and prayer was held to end the workout.

I’m enormously humbled and honored to lead my fellow pax!

Until next time – White Hat out!
