I shared during our workout about Simeon and Anna (Luke 2:25-38). From the last prophetic book in the Old Testament (Malachi) there is a period of about 400 years where God was silent.  There were no prophets that spoke His words to the people. Many people turned away from Him and began to follow the pagan gods of other Ancient Near East peoples.  But there was a remnant that stayed faithful and kept believing in a coming Messiah. And for some 7 to 9 generations of people, the faith and hope were passed on from father to son and mother to daughter. Are we doing that today? Do we pass on our faith to our children, or do we hand that responsibility over to the church, to the “professionals”? This Christmas season let us recapture the hope and expectancy of a long-awaited Messiah, a Savior. And let us pass that hope on to our 2.0s.

Polymer out.
