Thank you, Anchor Bar for the chance to lead. I always enjoy mixing things up a bit, and today was no different. I was hoping today would show you can get a workout without running much (1.75 miles) all while having fun. I learned a few things today:
- 155 is really in to 80s music (didn’t miss a lyric)
- Ponytail digs The Outfield
- Your Love and Jessie’s Girl took Apache back to high school again – what was her name again?
- Didn’t realize how many times they say 867-5309 until you have to do Burpees
- Padeye loves him some Dead or Alive
- None of our PAX can hit the high note in Take on Me – but that didn’t stop us from trying (poorly)
- Down Under was number one back on this day 35 years ago
- Eye of the Tiger really does motivate us to run harder (7:30 pace)
Though I felt like John Cusack in Say Anything (look up the boombox scene), I think the fellas enjoyed a little 80s jam session. Thank you for indulging in a little nostalgia this morning. For those wondering what the final song was we didn’t get to – it was “Another One Bites the Dust” (Dip up position until “dust” then you go to Dip down position). Thanks again, fellas. Great work!
Aye!
