This was a BEAUTIFUL 65F day in the Rock Region and 13 PAX took to the skies for a 6 mile post Rooster Run. There was a very bad attempt on making the Name-A-Rama in which it showed Mayflower looping something that may have been English, not sure. I will work on my recording skills and ask Popeye for some tips before the next run.
The talk before and during the run was mostly about how much we all enjoyed the Rooster and how we can prepare and how we could make it even better for next year!!! Before we took flight I asked everyone to make sure they get the most out of their runs. If you run a 6 minute mile please run it and make this run yours at your pace and distance.
During the run we also talked about the week before running the Airport loop. Many PAX asked for this to be in our schedule so we or I decided that the following will be the monthly schedule.
The First Sunday of the month will be Track Work at Northwestern Track and meet at the ATC or original Runway location. The second and fourth Sunday will be the Airport Loop meeting in the parking lot of Ollie’s close to Museum Road. This loop is 4 miles long and has a great incline to work on for the Cooper River Bridge Run coming in April. The third Sunday will run the neighborhoods around The Runway.
COT was held before the run started and brought up prayer requests and praises. I am very proud to be a part of F3 and The Runway AO. Come check us out this Sunday.
