Last week Anchor Baaaarrrrrrrrr (gotta stretch it out) had us doing burpees at each of the street lights and boy did they make me sore. I could tell that I’d spent way too much time (or maybe not enough time for the P200) running and hadn’t kept up the boot camp side of things like I should’ve. It’s all a balancing act and YHC didn’t manage that balance well! Soooooo … how do you get better at burpees?? By doing more burpees! So with this in mind I developed a plan to explore the campus at Winthrop while taking on a string of pyramids!

There was a brief disclaimer (no FNG’s so it was short) and we took off (with some mumblechatter about not having a warm up) for a jog onto campus.

At the first stop we did 3 merkins, 4 squats, 5 carolina dry docks, 4 donkey kicks, and 3 burpees.

Another mosey and we added a rep to each exercise (4,5,6,5,4). We continued this pattern until we hit 10,11,12,11,10. For those of you keeping score that’s 52 merkins, 60 squats, 68 dry docks, 60 donkey kicks, and 52 burpees.

We made it back to Oakland Pres in time for a couple of minutes of ab lab before wrapping up in COT & BoM.

Naked Man Moleskin…

This is AO has a special place in my F3 heart, so it’s always a honor to come back as a Q but also to watch new Site Q’s step in and love it like I do!
