Starting Point

    • When: 10/15/2018
    • QIC: Canseco
    • The PAX: PacMan, Fatback, Jag, Slow Pitch, Penny Pincher, Vanilla Headlights

First of all what a great AO!  This is an awesome way to wrap up a Monday.  PAX if you haven’t visited this site or led due yourself a favor and do both.  Aye!!!

We had 7 solid HIM ready to shake off Monday and the temps were starting to cool with clear skies.  My plan was to focus on lower body.  Disclaimer was given and there were no FNG’s so we got to it.

We warmed up with:

  • LOR
  • ROL
  • Cherry Pickers
  • Imperial Walkers
  • Plank
  • 6 inches
  • Merkins
  • Right and Left Hand to the sky.

From there we moseyed over to the track behind Dutchman Creek Middle School via headlamps.

The Thang:

We did a set of lower body excersizes at each corner of the track.  In Cadence what we could 25 Reps each.

  • Squats
  • Calf Raises
  • Bobby Hurley’s
  • Bomb Jack’s
  • Al Gore
  • Low Slow Squats
  • Flutters

On the straight away’s

  • Lieutenant Dan’s
  • High Knees
  • NUR
  • Toy Soldiers
  • Lunge Walk

We ran the turns or ends of the track between exercises.

Moseyed back to the COT for a few more Merkins in slow motion and ended up with 1.5 miles and some solid leg work.

It was great to hear PacMan encouraging a PAX who was posting for his 2nd time.  Pacman is coming up on 2 years in this F3 thing and now he is able to pull others along and share his story.  We all had or have a starting point which is so critical in hindsight.  It’s those HIM around you that bring you back, pull you along, and remind you your not alone.  See, we all have come from somewhere.  I believe the physical push and physical change of our bodies is a foreshadow of another change.  The change of hearts, soul, spirit, and attitude.  I know that I am a better man, husband, father, employee, because of the impact other HIM have had on me in the gloom.  Don’t forget where you have come from and don’t let up!  Aye!  Thanks for letting me lead Pacman.
