I intentionally did sets of 15 on everything because we sometimes get in the groove of doing sets of ten. A small change that added up to a much greater challenge by the end of the workout.

The word of the month is intentional.

Yesterday Popeye spoke about staying with the people that you EH’d out to a workout. Checking on them. Keeping up with them and making sure that they come back out.

That struck a chord with me.

There are a lot of guys who have started sliding out of our routine. These Kotters present an interesting problem to me. I am not talking about the guys who came once and never showed again. That is a problem, but not the one I am thinking of right now.

I wonder about the guys who posted for weeks, months, or even years who have wondered off of the path.

They came out, why did they stop?

More importantly, how do we get them back?

It does not happen accidentally. It requires intent.

You intended to get up and put in work this morning. That is good. But it is better to get up and intend to put in work for others.

If you know a guy who you haven’t seen in a circle in a while, reach out.

We all fall off from time to time. Thankfully I have a community that helps me to find my way back. My brothers help me find clarity of mind and purpose every day that I post. The workout helps me burn energy and focus. The fellowship helps me relax and enjoy it.

The fact is that most men need the positive example that we have established in the Rock Region.

Iron sharpens iron.

Leaders lead leaders.

HIM contact their brothers when they suspect that help is needed.

Every one of us was poured into by someone else who brought us out. They invested time and effort to get us up at 4:30 in the morning.

We should be passing that same effort, care, and love to others.
