    • QIC: Reborn
    • The PAX: Honeypot, Smokey, Pink Panther, Ponytail (R), Herbie, PCH, Boomer, Jester, Iron Sight, Rasta, Bulldog, Reborn

Honored I was to lead this group of 11 other strong HIM at The Commons this gloom. It was a wonderful summer morning. I made sure the PAX were stretching while arriving to the AO. At 0500 we began with the F3 Disclaimer and the following:

We began with a quick warmup by performing the following in cadence: Side Straddle Hops, Imperial Walkers, Low Slow Squats, Merkins, Peter Parker Peters, 10 6-Count Burpees.

We then began the meat and potatoes of the workout. We started off by taking a mosey to begin what is termed in F3 as Pearls on a String. We moseyed throughout the morning stopping occasionally for a series of exercises. The moseying was quick at times and slower at times, but strong enough to keep the heart rates up.

The first mosey took us to some short walls behind the Library at Winthrop where we performed some Irkins, Dips, Lunges, and Derkins.

Then we headed over near Bancroft Park for some Mountain Climbers, Shoulder Taps, CDD’s, and Dips.

Then we headed down to the bottom of the steps at Campus Greens for some coupon work performing Curls, Tricep Extensions, and Overhead Presses (done twice). At this point YHC shared the NMM with the PAX.

Then we took a mosey over to Hardin Garden for some Low, Slow alternating jump lunges, low slow jump squats, and low slow reverse alternating lunges.

Then we went to the front of the gym where we had some Merkins, Wide Arm Merkins, and Diamond Merkins.

Then we took another mosey to the Dinkins Hall covered area for some people’s chair w/head, shoulder, knees, & toes; Ball to the Wall; London Bridge, and what we named as Sydney Bridge.

The final mosey took us back to the COT for some more 6-Count Burpees (25) and then 6-Minutes of Mary until 0550.

All PAX did a fantastic job this morning. Thank you for joining YHC today.

In the passage below Jesus told James & John to come with him. They left their boats and followed him. Their boats were a tool that shaped their livelihood, their source of income, and probably their identity. It is all they knew and defied their lives.

What is in your life today that Jesus (or your SkyQ) is asking you to put aside to follow him. This doesn’t mean you need to rid your life of it, or maybe it does. It is a matter of applying relational rhythm to your life.

Matthew 20:21-22 – ‘And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.’
