Feeding Homeless Men

    • When: 09/27/2019
    • QIC: JAG
    • The PAX: All brothers, Ms, and 2.0s invited

F3 brothers please join me on Friday September 27th at 5:45 at Bethel United Methodist Church to serve a meal to our local less fortunate men at the shelter dining area behind the church. My Aunt and Uncle will provide the food. Just show up to help set up the food line, serve these men, and help with a quick clean up. Were usually done a little after 7pm. I’ve done this several times before, and it always humbles me and makes me more grateful for everything God has blessed me with. I am hopeful we can make this a monthly event, either supporting my aunt and uncle or possibly taking one night a month as an F3 region. As Rock Hill continues to grow, so does the need. Feel free to bring Ms and 2.0s, but be wary of keeping an eye out for each other, as we do have some men with mental health issues. There is a security guard present, but we have never had any issues. These gentlemen are grateful to have a filling, warm meal. I’d love for those who attend to wear F3 attire to show the community another way we can put our faith in action. The church is located on Curtis Street in Rock Hill, and the shelter is located between Northside Baptist and Bethel Methodist just off Dave Lyle Blvd. Just bring a friendly attitude and a serving spirit.   Text me if you can assist:  517-7022   JAG
