Good morning brothers, I miss working out with you in person! I am looking forward to the time, Lord willing, that we will be able to push each other again. I think of my F3 brothers frequently, and I pray that each of you are doing well despite the various trials we may be experiencing.

I posted a weekly devotional yesterday on Facebook that talks about “Our Purpose.” As a follower of Jesus, our main purpose revolves around the gospel. Through repentance of our sin and faith in Jesus Christ, we are granted a personal relationship with King Jesus. Before He ascended to Heaven, Jesus commanded his disciples saying, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19).

When we share the gospel, we proclaim Jesus to other people that they too may follow him. The gospel also serves as an encouragement that our hope is not in this life, but eternity.

So, why not share it with the people we love most on this earth – our family?

For today’s workout, I encourage each of you to grab a family member and as you work out, work the gospel into the conversations.

Here is the workout:

10 min jog at 20% max speed (may be a good time to initially bring up the gospel)

9 min of the following 3 part circuit:

  • 1 minute of merkins
  • 1 minute of LBCs
  • 1 minute of low slow squats
  • 30 second rest b/w first two circuits

10 min jog at 50% max speed

9 min of the following 3 part circuit:

  • 1 minute of wide arm merkins
  • 1 minute of v-ups (modify to big buy sit ups if needed)
  • 1 minute of jump squats (modify to calf raises if needed)
  • 30 second rest b/w first two circuits

10 min jog at 75% max speed

12 min of stretching OYO (continue the gospel conversation here)

There is nothing more important in this life than a relationship with Jesus. Let’s prioritize it brothers!
