Eight of us gathered at Independence, three ruckers/walkers, one runner and four for a boot camp – Anchor Bar’s bag of Tricks.
The usual disclaimer was given and we were off.
We warmed up with the following:
- 15 Side Straddle Hops IC
- 10 Windmills IC
- 15 Moroccan Night Clubs IC
- 10 Cherry Pickers IC
We moseyed over to the flagpole in front of Tillman Hall where JAG led us in The Pledge of Allegiance. We continued on with our mosey to the green below Scholars Walk. Darth and Roxanne had carried two ruck sacks containing the workout to our destination. We left one bag on the walkway by the student center and moseyed to the other end by the stage with the other sack. Here’s what transpired next. Each bag contained discs with a prescribed exercise and count. The bag by the stage had ab exercises while the bag by the student center contained arm exercises. We took turns pulling a disc from the bag and reading the exercise. Everyone performed the prescribed exercise. After each exercise, we moseyed to the other end in a figure-8 around the two circles. In all, there were seven exercises in each bag. After completing all 14 exercises, we collected the discs and made our way back to the Dinkins Hall parking lot. We had a few minutes left, so as a cool down we performed a series of Lt. Dans from one end of the lot to the halfway point and jogged the rest of the way across the lot. We rinsed and repeated two more times. This took us up to the time for the COT.
We did the usual count, video name-o-rama, announcements and praises & prayer requests. Chuckie closed us out with prayer.
