Runners Simply Looking to Run with Other Runners to Push and Support One Another

    • The PAX: Anyone looking to run a 5K, 10K, half marathon or full marathon distances with other runners being involved pushing, supporting and encouraging one another along the way.

Why:  2020 has presented various challenges on varying levels for everyone as we all know. And, in many instances, various things have been postponed or cancelled given the circumstances surrounding 2020. So, the intent of this informal, unofficial thing is to just bring runners together to go out and run no matter the level whether it be a couch to 5K run all the way up to pushing through a full marathon.

When: Saturday, October 24th at 0600.

Where: Fountain Park in Rock Hill.

The 5K Route: Starting at Fountain Park head towards Oakland Ave. along E. Main St. and turn right onto Oakland Ave. Take Oakland Ave. to Chery Rd. and turn right on Cherry Rd.  Go one black and turn right on Charlotte Ave. Take Charlotte Ave. to Eden Terrace and turn right onto Eden Terrace.  Take Eden Terrace to Oakland Ave. and turn left on Oakland Ave. Take Oakland Ave. down to E. White St. and turn left on E. White St. Take E. White St. to N. Elizabeth Ln. and turn right on N. Elizabeth Ln. Once you hit E. Main St. at Fountain Park you have completed a 5K!

The 10K (1 Loop), Half Marathon (2 Loops) & Full Marathon (4 Loops) Routes: Starting at Fountain Park heads towards Oakland Ave. along E. Main St. and turn right onto Oakland Ave. Take Oakland Ave. to Chery Rd. and turn right on Cherry Rd. Take Cherry Rd. to Caswell St. and turn right on Caswell St. Take Caswell St. to Eden Terrace and turn right on Eden Terrace. Take Eden Terrace to Oakland Ave. and turn left on Oakland Ave. Take Oakland Ave. back down to E. Main St. and turn right on E. Main St. Proceed to Fountain Park on E. Main St. You have completed a 10K upon hitting Fountain Park! If you are looking to run a half marathon, rinse and repeat the loop. If you are looking to run a full marathon, rinse and repeat the loop three more times.
