NMM

Decided to start the day with SSHs because Catfish hates to start a workout with the same ol’ SSHs. Once we finished 20 IC, we added 15 more for good measure. This started the morning off right with some solid mumblechatter.

It was a pleasure to spend time with the PAX this morning. It’s always good to have chatter and conversation amongst the group. This workout was designed as a full-body beatdown with nearly 2 miles added in. I like Qing this one because it keeps everybody in one area and helps encourage communication with guys we don’t normally get the chance to talk to.

Midway through the workout we took a break to discuss something I saw yesterday. Recently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson purchased ownership in the XFL. Yesterday he posted a picture of himself with 8 XFL helmets and $7 framed. The $7 is the amount of money he had when he was cut from the Canadian Football League in 1995 as a daily reminder to,

Stay hungry, humble, and always be the hardest worker in the room.

If you keep striving for excellence, remain humble when you succeed, and work harder than anyone in the room, your efforts will be rewarded. Remember that next time you desire to get better. You have what it takes. Lean in and make it happen

Aye!
