5 HIMS of the Rock Region gathered on a nice cool morning to grab a few miles today at Wally Falcon Zero.  YHC had the opportunity to lead the run today and planned out a bit of a different route in lesser traveled roads & enjoy some enjoyable conversational miles.  There were no FNG’s present so we rolled out at 0500 –

The Thang –

The route for today was planned for right at 5 miles and to finish up on the track for a cool down or extra laps.  The route was as follows:

Leaving the AO – R on Eden Terrace / L on University to the roundabout at St Anne’s / R on Bird St / L on Poe St / R on Church St down alongside the RR tracks / R on Community / R on Edgemont / L on Kykendall to the back entrance of the Winthrop Lake / down alongside the in way to the shack / beside the Winthrop ball park out to the back side of the Coliseum / R on Eden Terrace back to the AO.  We enjoyed great conversation and fellowship along the way and never got too far apart taking care of the six.  Iron Sights had to leave a few minutes early and the rest finished on the track and we close out the morning in COT –

YHC share the following verse with the remaining PAX –

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.  If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.  Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.  On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good

Romans 12 : 17-21

We closed out the morning with a few announcements along with prayers & praises –

Thanks Slow Pitch for the opportunity to lead today – it’s always an honor to do so –
