Thank you to the 4 other PAX who showed up to ManU on this cool moonlit gloom to share in some great fellowship and a little suffering. It was an awesome time and if you miss it, well, you missed out. Thank you to Triad for allowing YHC to lead this morning.
We began the morning with the following in cadence: Side Straddle Hops, Imperial Walkers, Low Slow Squats, Peter Parker Peters, Merkins, and 10 6-Count Burpees.
After the warmup we took a short mosey to the pond in Manchester Park where YHC explained to the PAX abut a workout from the past (somewhat). In the workout from the past, YHC had set up 4 pain stations at the four ‘corners’ of the pond with multiple exercises listed on them.
Today, we ran around the pond stopping at 1st corner to perform the first exercise on the sheets brought by YHC, and then move on to the next corner and perform the first exercise, and so on. We did these together due to the strength and size of the group.
The exercises at the stores were as follows:
Round 1: 20 Merkins, 20 Lunges (10-Each Leg), 20 Carolina Dry Docks, 20 LBC’s, Dips.
Round 2: 20 Diamond Merkins, 20 Jump Squats, 20 Pike Presses, 20 V-Ups, Mike Tysons.
Round 3: 20 Burpees, 20 Low Slow Jump Squats, 20 Mahktar N’Diayes, 20 Big Boy Sit-ups, Burpees.
Once we finished this we moseyed to the fountain and performed the following in cadence: Irkins, Dips, Step-Ups and Derkins. Then we took a mosey back to the COT for 4-minutes of Mary.
Fantastic work was put in by all PAX in attendance today. Thank you for being there.

Romans 12:3-5 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgement, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Paul was writing to the Romans in this passage about the specific gifts of each person given by God for them to use for His glory. We as men have been given the gift of leadership, but most of us lead in different areas and in different ways.
Some men show pride in that leadership by excessively making it known to all that they are the leaders. These are the men who those point out to and say, ‘he is full of pride’. This is a type of pride we can call overachiever pride.
Then there are the men who don’t show pride, but still are full of pride by not doing what God has called you to do in the body. We can call this underachiever pride.
Are you an overachiever or an underachiever? With either, you are full of Pride, a sin that can destroy you and those around you. We have all been given gifts to better the community and our world. We must use them correctly, so the entire body works together. If one person is doing too much or not doing enough, the body suffers.
Should you attempt in 2021 to not be so visibly prideful, or probably worse, should you use your specific gift that has been given to you more to better the community and not be invisibly prideful?
Gentlemen, this passage says to not think of yourself more highly than you ‘ought’ to think. There is a rhythm in which the body works like a well-oiled machine. Be that HIM, not full of pride, that does what you have been called to in the way which works best for all.
